The Massacre happened because the Indian land that the Apache Indians were on had gold in the mountains. The Government went out and asked them for land, then kicked them off when they didn't say yes. The Indians fought to protect their land, but one day a gun went off accidentally which triggered the government to raid the camp. Over 200 people died that day.

Everyone of these incidents happened with the belief from Americans that these people, these cultures were all forced to be on a lower level. The whites didn't think of them as real people. They thought of them as aliens. That they don't belong in the U.S. They broke them away individually from their groups to make it easier to control that persons actions. Over the years these races, including my own has proved their right to be here in the U.S. They fought hard for what we have today.
