Have you ever been to Joshua Tree National Park, which is located in California? During Christmas break me and my family got to go to California Joshua Tree is one of my favorite National parks we got to visit! It is a perfect spot to go if you love to look at the stars. Around 11 or after the sun goes down it is the best time to watch the stars. The sunsets are gorgeous, with the pretty rock mountains in the back and Joshua trees being the best photo combination. There are a ton of different wildfires that live there. Just watch out for snakes! There are a lot of plants or flowers. One of my favorite plants was a desert lily or a cactus. You have to be very very careful there, because there are a lot of things that can harm you. In general, I would recommend going to Joshua Tree National Park if you are visiting California.8

My national park is the Rio Grande Wild and Scenic River. Although it's humid, the river can cool you off. The Rio Grande Wild and Scenic River does not have a lot of animals and plants, but all the living things there adapt to the surroundings. The Rio Grande National Forest is home to many animals. Birds like the golden eagle and red-tailed hawk soar above the forest. Pika and marmots live high in the mountains among the rocks, and elk and deer live throughout the forest. Well, on the river side of the Rio Grande Wild & Scenic River, there are cottonwood trees and this type of moss called hydrilla.

The river is 96 miles of free-flowing stretch of the Rio Grande, which winds through desert and stunning canyons of stratified rock. The Rio Grande flows out of the snow-capped Rocky Mountains in Colorado and journeys 1,900 miles to the Gulf of Mexico.

                  Big Bend National Park

Big Bend National Park is a beautiful place, although it may be a wasteland it has lots of wonders like its wildlife and and its canyons. Big Bend is located by Brewster County in Texas. The national park has lots of plants in it but my favorite is the strawberry hedgehog cactus which looks like a ton of spiky ball with pink flowers on top of it. In Big Bend there is also a large variety of animals. But the one I picked is called the roadrunner. The roadrunner is a bird that can run at high speeds. There are not a lot of activities that you can do in Big Bend but you can go kayaking and hiking. Although it is a beautiful place I would not like to go because of how hot it gets. If I did go to Big Bend though I would definitely go kayaking. Although Big Bend is a hot wasteland most people would definitely have lots of fun in Big Bend national park.

Joshua Park would be a park I would prefer for someone who loves outdoors and amazing nature sights. Joshua Park is located in the southern part of California, so it's mainly always warm or hot down there. The best time to go to Joshua Park is when it's most busy from October through May. There are very many things to do at Joshua Park like hiking, stargazing, wilderness backpacking, biking, horseback riding, and seeing all the different types of wildlife. There's amazing flowers and many plants like Cactuses, wildflowers, Joshua trees, and California fan palm trees. There's a bunch of animals in Joshua park including squirrels, chipmunks, wolves, bats, and so many more. There are so many reptiles and so many different birds. Therefore, I think everyone should have the chance to go to Joshua National Park.

Another reason you should come to Death Valley is because of all the beautiful plants. Some plants there are called the desert holly, and Creosate bush. These plants are beautiful, but could be spiky. You also need to watch out for the animals that live there. Some animals are the Sidewinder, and desert tortoise. One thing you can do for activities is go hiking. The views are amazing when you reach the top, but the hike up can be a bit difficult. The last thing you should do while in Death Valley would be looking at the amazing sunsets.

If you're ever in California and you want to do something fun with your family, you should take a trip to Joshua National Park. There are so many things to do such as rock climbing, hiking, camping, stargazing, and even wildflower seeing. But if you do go to Joshua National Park you have to think about it, because if you or your family doesn't like to be outside then i would not recommend this park. It is located 10 minutes away from Twentynine palms. This park could be a great way for you and your family to connect with nature and one another. It's pretty cheap for everything they offer, it's only $156 per person! You have to bring your own food but they do have many picnic sites where you and your family can eat and hang out. Many animals can be found here such as Kangaroo rat, tortoise, coyotes, desert cottontail, and many kinds of birds. But you cannot feed the animals because they could be dangerous or what you are feeding them could be harmful to them.

Joshua Tree National Park is a fun and interesting place because of its unique landscapes and outdoor activities. The park is famous for its twisted, spiky Joshua trees and gigantic rock formations that are perfect for climbing. If you like hiking, there are many trails to explore, like Hidden Valley and Barker Dam, where you may even see bighorn sheep. The park is one of the greatest places to see the stars at night because there’s barely any light pollution. You can also go camping and enjoy the atmosphere. The park has beautiful plants and animals that have adapted to survive in the dry climate. In the spring, wildflowers bloom all over the desert, making it even more beautiful. If you like hiking, rock climbing, or just exploring nature, Joshua Tree is the best place to visit. If you ever get the chance, you should consider going.

Hailing from south and central america the coati is a lemur like omnivore. While it resembles a lemur it is more closely related to the raccoon.

FACT 2: The apache tribes that were native to the surrounding area knew the area as “The land of standing-up rocks” due to the large vertical rock formations in the park.

FACT 3: there are over 50 species of grass in the park.

So if any of those facts interest you come to the park or be banished from reality.

Haleakala is a great national park to visit in Hawaii. This is a great park because it has amazing plants and salt-washed shores. Plants that are in Haleakala include shrubs, hardy silversword, and orange-berried coffee relative pilo. The slow-growing native shrubs get their water from the upper slopes. Unfortunately, invasive plants such as fireweed, telegraph, and pine trees are hurting the wildlife there, so Park staff are currently controlling that. This park has a lot of diversity and has plants only found in Hawaii. They have amazing trails, like the one from Paliku to Kaupo Gab. Haleakala could interest you if you love exploring and trying something new.
