The basic amenities that most villagers whish to have in there villages include :
1) Safe drinking water
2)Sanitation facilities
3)All weather road to village
4)Electrification
5)Healthcare centre
6)School
7)Recreational facilities
8)housing facilities
9)Play ground and many more. Out of which , prime importance can be given to safe drinking water, proper Sanitation , Housing facilities and an all weather road .An all weather road is one which can act as a functional source for meeting all other requirements of villagers. And that road should be a one which is always short, and should be able to access in an emergency. It should be also large enough for allowing transition of goods as well. Now a days most villages in every state of india posses a good to go roads and if we are interested in marking a new approach to village roads then electric charging outlets will be a great idea.As they can help change the perspective of villages as a remote area to a sustainable environment.Electric charging outlets will act as energy efficient enabling a cleaner environment as they dont emit pollutants as wel.And they also ensures, not to affect the peaceful atmosphere within a village as they provides a quiter environment. There by villages in india can take a great leap forward with this approach and it will also help in meeting other basic amenities too. In short it it will enhance the provision to more facilities in a village.

Submitted by ,
Devu.S.Kumar
(AM.EN.P2GEO21012)

VILLAGE LIFE

The real beauty of life is in the village, because there is everything natural, pure, and beautiful. There are very few houses and all the people live in community and friendly environments. The people know the rhythmic movement of nature and they work in their fields according to the seasonal changes. But there are so many factors which are not available for them such as good education, healthcare ,transportation, communication facilities, electricity etc. Actually they are less aware of the developing technologies . In some places they are following the traditional cultures and rituals. If we use modern machines by introducing the robotic concept in the field their work load can be reduced. Education is the fundamental thing that help them to develop by themselves. Expert teachers and educational institutions make professionals and develop their life. Village is actually a collection of several resources such as fresh air, waterbodies, mountains, forests ,but efficient use of all these things make the life better.

submitted by
VIDYA S NAIR
Roll no: AM.EN.P2WNA21008

Life in a village ; with lesser words

Life in a village is quieter than in a city. These are areas with clean air, clean water, no crowds, and no pollution. The people who live there carry the true heritage and culture. There are no walls between their homes and their minds. Everyone lives by helping each other. Their eating habits were also healthy. Although life in a village is simple, it is not easy considering the facilities available. The development of technological development is very slow compared to cities. There are still villages without electricity. In the context of this epidemic, many students and staff in the villages are now facing many problems regarding the inadequacy of these facilities. There is also a need for development when considering other facilities such as healthcare and transportation.

submitted by
  Anu K V
Roll no : AM.EN.P2BMI21003

Villages; calm, quiet and peaceful place on Mother Earth. Villages are simple but magnificent. Are the granary and the lungs, even if others try to destroy them. They are very far behind from the mad crowd as well as the technologies of cities. Living a life that ensures their cultures and believes. Most of them are not health conscious. The prior thing the village needs is better health care facility. Most of the villages around us lacks specialized health care. In emergencies, they might have to travel long distance to the nearby cities to get better health care. Most of the villagers are poor and illiterate, they may not be aware of the healthcare facilities cities provides. So, a specialized healthcare establishment in villages can help them. Almost every villages have PHCs but seldom multi-specialties in affordable range. Implementation of telemedicine and remote health monitoring systems might be helpful. In today’s pandemic situation better health care is what villages demand the most.

Submitted by : Veni Venu
                          AM.EN.P2BMI21009

In a village ,which faces scarcity in water and which finds no provisions in obtaining water with ease ,like in the case of a hilly remote area , pipeline facilities to access water will not be available ,there arises a need for using many pumps and adopting of water storing structure for facilitating the same.

In the case of a region with lack of fresh water resources.People are forced to walk long distances in search of water. And carrying it along with them is another hardship that they have to face.

For facilitating a village with clean water and accessing it with ease Government in each state should take considerable steps regarding it ,like finding a proper source of water and enabling its proper supply as well.

Another factor that needs a consideration is of the Sanitation facilities.

There are many villages that still exist in our country which lack proper sanitation facilities, and primarily women are facing the major trouble with this.

Proper sanitation facilities along with proper provisions in its disposal can be a great solution for this.

DEVU S KUMAR
(AM.EN.P2GEO21012)

Education is the fundamental right of each and every individuals. But in rural areas they didn't get the opportunity to study.

one of the major issue is the poverty. They are mainly focussed on the basic things such as food, water and shelter.

In some areas there is lack of educational institutions and expert teachers.

Another reason for the low literacy rate in rural regions is the lack of awareness of the importance of education. People in rural regions are mostly engaged in agricultural and allied sectors. Children from the beginning are engaged in these sectors and not give much importance to their studies.

During this corona time, education is given in online mode, but due to poor connectivity, rural children are not able to get an education.
