Last year, I went to Houston to visit my sister. After two weeks, I had to help her travel to Colombia with her two kids. While we were going to the airport, we heard on the radio that it was the day before Thanksgiving, and the traffic was heavy in the city. We were surprised that we didn't notice it was a big day in the USA. After one hour in the traffic we arrived at the airport, it was crowded with many people wanting to fly, however we saw many policemen and auxiliary people helping.
We made the line on the counter to deliver the bags, but the assistant told us we had some trouble with the tickets and we needed some papers that my sister gave me at the house. I was looking in my bag when I remembered I left the papers in the car. After I cried for a long time, I saw my nephew with the papers, the little boy saved the day and my life.
Once we passed all the documents we finally delivered the bags, and then we were waiting in line for the security area. Suddenly I heard a policeman asking if we needed help, I responded Yes, we needed it, hence the policeman moved us to a new line and helped the security part. Nowadays I don't know if its a good idea to travel in a holiday.

Everything started badly today Tuesday, I got up early but I realized that the floor of my house was flooded, so I decided to start drying the floor and I saw the broken tube in the bathroom, I was talking to my husband to find a plumber when suddenly I remembered that I had my appointment at 10am. My husband told me that the plumber would take half an hour, an hour passed and I decided to leave, just as I was getting into the taxi the plumber arrived and I had to stay, the repair took half an hour and after that I went out again for my appointment . When I was in the taxi I remembered that I had left my identification, but I had no more time, so I decided to continue on the road. I arrived for my appointment at 10:03 am, I had paid an expensive fee and after announcing myself, guess what? the nurse told me that my appointment was the following Tuesday. Moral: It is always better to think before acting.

When I was 22 years old, my crush, who I had been in love with for a year, invited me to New york. I was really excited, so I got my visa in record time. I bought tickets without time, and they were very expensive. Despite that, I went ahead with the plan because I was so happy to share with him. My visa took longer than I expected, so I was on my way to the airport when I picked it up.

The flight was on December 31 and I was supposed to arrive at the hostel at 10 pm to meet my friend. But, when I was at Penn Station, I got lost. I took the wrong route, and ended up at Times Square station at midnight. Everyone was shouting "happy new year!" and running to get to the famous Times Square show. Meanwhile, I was very scared and had to wait for the excitement of the moment to pass to call for help.

I had been lost for two hours when a girl came up to me and offered to help me. She took me to the train that I had take and accompanied me part of the way. Finally, when I arrived, my friend had been waiting for me all this time outside the hostel. He hugged me and we went to enjoy the New Year together in Central Park.

I remember this story because it was my first trip alone, and the first time I was leaving the country, and it’s a funny anecdote.

Eight years ago my husband, my daughter and I traveled to USA. We were dreaming for many years to know the Disney's parks, Universal and Seaworld. The day of our trip arrived! We got up very early, took a shower and ate breakfast. We were going through all the documents one last time when my mother called to tell us that she would take us to the airport. The flight was leaving at 2:00 p.m. so we meet her at 10:00 a.m. When we arrived at the airport and while we were looking for all the documents we lined up to check in. Oh surprise! We had forgotten Valentina's birth certificate. We had reviewed all the details of our trip: clothes, documents, passport, medicines, etc. and we ourselves had been planning the itinerary for the trip, how could we had forgotten that document! We immediately went to the airport registration office to ask for help. While we were requesting Valentina's birth certificate, we heard the call to board. Fortunately, we received the certificate very quickly, we didn't miss our flight and we were able to travel.

Last year I stoped eating animal products. First because a doctor sent me that diet to loose weight. I had never quit completely those meals before in my life, honestly all the time were thinking that I was not be able to make it. The first month was challenged because during 12 days I just eated papaya, after that I started drinking smooties for 7 days. To continue, the next mont I started to eat some cereals and vegetables that was amazing considering that I though I had to eaten papaya forever. After that during the next 6 months I eaten vegetables, cereals and pasta. Finally I started to had problems of vitamins and started to eat egg and cheese. I continued with a vegetarian diet because I feel that my health had become a priority and I feel really good but with an other doctor that allowed me to eat another kind of food, in this moment I had finished a detox of 21 days that is really powerfull.
