Bill Clinton is a representation of John Proctor. This quote too shows that John proctor lies. This time however it was directed at his wife, Elizabeth. When he came home and tasted the stew he was initially displeased. He added his own seasoning and sat down when he heard her coming. Upon being served he immediately remarked that the stew was well seasoned, yet he added the seasoning himself after being displeased. This quote, as Proctor describes, that he is judged for his lies. People have caught on finally to his lying game and have come to realize, that maybe he lies more than they really thought.
