The first article covers all of the details and duties of the legislative branch. It breaks down the branch into two groups the Senate and the House of Representatives. Starting with the House of Representatives it states that they must be 25 years of age and a citizen in the U.S and also cannot be a resident in that state when elected. The number of people in the state influences the amount of representatives for that area. Next, two senators from each state are chosen. The senators must be at least 30 years of age and have been citizens for 9 years in the U.S. When these two groups go to pass a bill it must be voted on by 2/3 of the house and the Senate can concur with the bill. Lastly one of the duties is to lay and collect tax, duties, and imposts.

This article is all about the executive branch also known as the president. They will serve in the office for 4 years and the vice president will be there with them for the term. After an election, the House and Senate will count the votes and whoever has the most will remain the president. The president is also in charge of the army and navy. If the votes are equal for some reason the votes will be counted by state. During the term, if the president is unfit to fulfill their duties the vice president will take over.

Article III covers the judicial powers such as the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court is usually the last resort and cases only go there when needed. The U.S. Constitution is responsible for choosing the number and size of the courts below them. Judges who are appointed to the court will remain on the court until they resign or die.

In this article, the focus is on the idea that we are the United States, we must stick together and support each other if there were to be an invasion or any kind of conflict we should fight against it together. It also says that each state has its own public acts and judicial desisions. Another topic brought up is the idea that no new states can be created within a state or no two states can come together from existing states.

This law states that even though states do have their own power the federal government still has supremacy over the states and they must obey that. It also talks about how the officials must take an oath but it cannot involve any religious test because they want to keep church and state separate.
