In the final they ran as fast as lightning across the 1 kilometer run.When they slowly looked around and realised that there are in first place and they crossed the finish line first.There coach ran to them and gave them a big hug. The spectators roared in excitement. They jumped in joy as they walked onto the stage to receive a golden trophy.

Billy was in the mens baton passing race. His heart was pounding during his practice before the race as he was about to lose grip of the baton and that made his hand trembel like a leaf and almost lose the baton. Before the race, Billy's heart was pounding, his hands were trembling like a leaf and his heart came out of his mouth but he still had a good feeling about this as he had trained very hard, had put in a lot of effort and time.

After John arrived at the venue for the marathon, he saw his opponents and he turned as pale as a sheet. He tried to give himself a pep talk" I can do it!" but his teeth could not stop chattering. His opponents were as tall as trees and their muscles were as big as rocks in the river. There were only thirty min left for the marathon so he decided to warm up. During the warm up John could not stop thinking about his opponents. His legs started to wobble like jelly. The race was about to begin in a few minutes an John was fully prepared for the race. He got into his position but after the referee waved the starting flag, he could not stand up. His legs were rooted to the ground. After regaining his consciousness, John found out that his opponents already started running. He was shocked. He ran as fast as wind and one by one he overtook all his opponents. His hands started to quiver profusely as he turned around to check if someone was behind him. He turned to meet his opponents neck to neck with him. At that moment he saw the finishing line is in front of him. He could hardly run for a few more centimeters but he used the last bit of his strength and finished the race, but his opponents were also quite fast and it seemed like the all completed the race at once. John breathed a sigh of relief after completing the marathon.

John could hardly walk but he was being more impatient than a mosquito. All his six month training was worthwhile, when he saw his name in the first place, John punched the air in delight while his opponents bawled like babies.

The spectators supporting John cheered loudly and they leapt up from their seats in joy. John was so excited to get the sparkling gold medal that he could not take his eyes off from it. After taking the gold medal from the judges, John thanked his coach continuously and celebrated his victory with him. It truly was a memorable day for John as this was the first gold medal he ever won.

After the competition, i saw everybody's shirt was full of sweat and huge droplets of sweat dripping down like everyone took a bathe. I had not even a small amount of energy to walk. When it was the time to announce, they said that i came in first place! I jumped in joy and punched the air with delight. I heard the huge cheer when the spectators heard that i came in first. I was filled with emotions. Even though i had no energy, I ran to my coach and celebrated. Some opponents had sportsmanship and congratulate me while others blew their top and stomped away in frustration. "They really do not have sportsmanship! "my coach told me. I realized the huge pressure that my whole country was weighing on me.

During the 2025 Olympics swimming competition, my family was in the crowd cheering for me.My heart was racing against my rib cage as a lot of people were cheering for me and for the other competiters, the crowd was depending on me, so I could not let them down.When I was standing on the diving board.I heard the intense music playing and my legs were wobbling like jelly.When the beep sound went off, everyone started to swim.As I realised my opponents were swimming rapidly I quickly dived into water swimming as fast as a cheetah and my legs were kicking as hard as a lions bite.I finally completed the swimming competition I was punching the air with delight. I was second place!My family and I were very proud of me getting second place.
