The mountains, the wind, the open sky… it’s almost too perfect to believe.

And the best part? You don’t need to hike for hours or be super adventurous. Just get there, walk a bit, sit by the shore, and take it all in.

It’s one of those places that doesn’t need music, filters, or big explanations. Being there is enough. It stays with you.

If you ever go to the Magallanes Region don’t skip this place. Really.

      Pali Aike

Pali-Aike National Park is a super unique and little-known place in Patagonia, full of impressive volcanic landscapes.

You’ll see fields of black lava, craters, caves, and rock formations that look like they’re from another planet. Also, the park is an important archaeological site where remains of some of the first humans who lived in the region thousands of years ago have been found.

The best part is that it’s not crowded with tourists, so you can walk around peacefully, enjoy the silence, see guanacos, and feel that special connection with nature and history.

If you like adventure, history, and different places, this park has all of that.

QUESTIONS

which of these 3 would you like to visit?

In France you will find different dishes as rich as known in the world that you should try when you go there sometime.

Ratatouille -

has its origins in French Provençal cuisine, specifically in Niza. It used to be a very humble dish, which took advantage of leftover vegetables. These vegetables were cooked in a slow cooker for hours, as the name suggests, since “rat” means “food” and ‘touille’ means “to stir”. Today, ratatouille is a very popular dish all over Europe, besides being made famous by the Disney movie. There are many variations of this well-known dish. The traditional recipe includes garlic, onions, peppers, tomatoes as well as eggplant and zucchini.

Le cassoulet-

Cassoulet is a robust French stew that takes its name from the cassole, the traditional earthenware casserole in which it is cooked. With a base of white beans, this dish is incredibly adaptable: you can stuff it with various meats such as pork sausage, duck or even pork skin for a deep umami flavor

a hearty and delicious feast!

Macaron-

a little pastry jewel full of flavor

The macaron is an emblematic French sweet, but its history is surprisingly Italian, dating back to the Renaissance. These delicate cookies are composed of two shells that are crispy on the outside and slightly chewy on the inside, made with almond flour, egg white and sugar.

What really elevates the macaron is its creamy filling, which binds the two shells together and provides an explosion of flavor. Although originally served as a single wafer, it was around 1830 when they began to be joined in pairs with simpler fillings, such as jams or liqueurs.

What food would you like to try or are you most interested in?

Italy offers a wide variety of historic and beautiful places to visit, learn their stories, and be fascinated by the details in each building. Some of the places I recommend, and some of the most well-known and visited are:

The Roman Colosseum

Have you visited the Roman Colosseum yet?

Well, you should go, because there's a lot of things you can learn, and its one of the most famous places in the world. It was built between 70 and 80 AD. Initially funded by the spoils of the conquest of Jerusalem, it was a symbol of Roman power and engineering, used for public spectacles such as gladiator combats, animal hunts, and executions.

Capacity: It could hold up to 75,000 spectators.

Spectacle of Power: Spectacles at the Colosseum were a way to demonstrate the emperor's power and entertain the Roman people.

Middle Ages: It was used for various purposes, including as a church and fortress.

Restoration: Beginning in the 19th century, efforts began to restore and conserve the Colosseum, with major work carried out in the 20th century.

Current Status: It is a symbol of Rome and a much-visited tourist attraction.

The Leaning Tower of Pisa

Originally conceived as a bell tower for Pisa Cathedral, construction began in 1173 and leaned shortly after due to unstable soil. Despite interruptions and efforts to correct its tilt, the tower has become a world-renowned symbol for its leaning, and has been the subject of numerous studies and restorations.

The leaning became more pronounced over time, reaching dangerous levels.

Several stabilization attempts were made, including adding cement to the base and extracting earth from beneath the tower.

At the end of the 20th century, the tower was closed to the public due to concerns about its stability.

Beginning in 1993, an ambitious restoration project was implemented that included extracting earth and installing steel cables, successfully reducing the lean by half a degree.

In 2001, the tower reopened to the public.

Key Facts:

The tower is 55.86 meters high at its highest point and 56.67 meters at its lowest point.

The current inclination is approximately 4 degrees, with a deviation of 3.9 meters.

The tower is composed of eight floors and a bell tower.

The Trevi Fountain

The Trevi Fountain (Italian: Fontana di Trevi), with a width of almost 50 meters, is one of the largest monumental fountains of the Baroque period in Rome (Italy). According to the current administrative division of central Rome, it is located in the Trevi district. Located on the rear facade of the Poli Palace, it is structured like a triumphal arch.

The Roman custom of building a commemorative fountain at the end of aqueducts was revived in the 15th century, with the Renaissance. In 1453, Pope Nicholas V commissioned the architect Leon Battista Alberti, who simply joined the three existing pools.

The fountain was restored between 1990 and 1991, and again in 1999, when the stone was cleaned and closed-circuit pumps and oxidizers were installed.

Who would you like to share this experience with?

Italian cuisine is world-famous for its diversity and richness of flavors. Some of the most iconic dishes include pizza, pasta in its various forms (such as spaghetti alla carbonara, lasagna, or ravioli), risotto, and dishes like ossobuco and Caprese salad. Additionally, Italian cuisine offers a wide variety of appetizers, such as bruschetta and arancini, and desserts like tiramisu and gelato. Some of my favourite options are:

Pizza

Is a dish made with a flat, usually circular, dough made with wheat flour, yeast, water, and salt (sometimes olive oil). It is traditionally topped with tomato sauce and mozzarella and baked at high temperature in a wood-fired oven. Pizzas are sold in pizzerias and are made by pizza makers (pizzaiolo in Italian). Although its origin is considered to be in Italian cuisine, specifically Neapolitan cuisine, its consumption extends to almost every country in the world, where there are local variations that incorporate different ingredients to cover the dough. Along with the hamburger, pizza is considered the most widespread food in the world, a consequence of the Italian diaspora that settled in America throughout the 20th century, mainly in New York, Buenos Aires, and Chicago.

Pastas

Historical research attributes the origin of pasta, in Italy, to the ancient Etruscan civilization (9th century BC), which made it by pounding or grinding various cereals and grains mixed with water, which were then cooked, resulting in a tasty and nutritious food. Today, pasta is a set of foods prepared with a dough whose basic ingredient is semolina, mixed with water, and to which salt, egg, or other ingredients can be added.

Gelato

Is a frozen dessert of Italian origin, similar to ice cream, but with differences in its preparation and texture. It is characterized by being denser and creamier than traditional ice cream, due to its lower fat content and the fact that it is churned at a slower speed.

If you had to eat any of these foods for the rest of your life, which would you choose?

After a morning of exploring, head into the village and find a cozy café where the smell of fresh bread and roasted coffee fills the air. Sit outside and sip on passionfruit juice as locals walk by and music plays softly in the background. For lunch, follow the sound of laughter and waves to a seaside spot with wooden tables and flower garlands. Order grilled tuna caught that same morning, served with rice, fried plantains, and spicy local sauce. In the afternoon, wander into a small bakery where the owner hands you warm pastries filled with guava or coconut cream. As the sky turns pink, find a restaurant built from stone and wood, glowing with lanterns and ocean breeze. There, try the curanto cooked underground with meat, seafood, and vegetables, or creamy taro in coconut milk. The chef might come to your table and explain the story behind each dish. For dessert, go to a hidden corner shop that serves banana ice cream topped with shredded coconut and a drizzle of honey. And when the stars are out, return to the village square, where another local kitchen opens late, serving empanadas, ceviche, and cold drinks under palm trees and soft laughter.

As the sun begins to lower in the sky, you sit at a wooden table near the edge of the shore, where the ocean hums softly in the background and the air smells like salt and firewood. A plate of fresh ceviche is placed in front of you — delicate chunks of raw fish caught just hours ago, soaked in lime juice until they turn tender and full of flavor. The mix includes finely sliced red onions, chopped cilantro, a sprinkle of sea salt, and a touch of spicy chili that warms your mouth without overpowering the freshness. It’s served with crispy plantain chips and a cold glass of pineapple juice so sweet it tastes like sunshine. Every bite feels like the island itself — wild, bright, and deeply alive. And while you eat, the waves roll in, people laugh in the distance, and the sky shifts from gold to pink

Have you ever eaten something so perfect it felt like time slowed down around you?
