As you mentioned on the video, I think your jacket will be better if you sew the cloth instead of using the glue. For instance, the improvements section was very detailed and interesting. The final video was also nicely edited, so it is very engaging. 

Maybe you could reduce the number of words on each slide into notes so that it is easier for the audience to read, and so you do not read off the slides when presenting to your family.

Something you could change to make it easier to understand could be the amount of text you put in each slide. It will bring more attention to your voice rather than solely the text.
I'd also really like to see pictures of the process, it would make following your procedure easily :)
