I don't think there is ever going to be world without discrimination because we are all different and nobody is perfect and we all have different views
2.

I don't think a world without discrimination is possible because there is always that one person who judges and is rude. It is natural for people to judge others to make themselves feel better about themselves. The main character's sister Leila in the "the Red pencil" is bullied by the town's bully Gamal. They soon become Bff's and Gamal realizes that he's being rude so he soon stops when Leila and him lose something. They lose their house which is burned by the "janjaweed" which is a local group of terrorist.

Book title: Sold
A world of prejudice and discrimination is not truly possible because you should think about your own experiences and thoughts about your life and make up your own opinions. It affects the view of culture from submerging lives and struggling with the conflicts. My main character experiences (Lakshmi) that she is a 13 year old girl who becomes violent and lives in a small village in Nepal. What I know from the book is Mumtaz lives with Lakshmi because they are part of a family. They also travel to many places in Asia (Malaysia, Pakistan, & India). Lakshmi believes in Ganesh, Krishna, and Swastika (beliefs of her religion). That means she is a Hindu (Her religion is Hinduism). The characters in the book have discrimination for their cultural beliefs.

The main character ( Rashad) in our book faces racism and is always assumed that he does bad things because it is a stereotype. It makes their culture look shadowy because of stereotypes

A world without discrimination is not possible because, we feel as though people will always be judged because of their own differences, no matter what. What The House on Mango Street is about is, a girl Esperanza Cordero who lives in Chicago but she lives in a neighborhood with her fellow latinos, in one of the chapters she is discriminated because, at school the kids who live far away are allowed to eat in a nice area, but the kids who live close by to the school are told to go home and eat with their family. Esperanza eventually gets her mom to write a letter to the school explaining how her house is to far way to walk, but the school does not believe so, so they get mad. This could affect the way of her culture because she might think that the wealthy people don't live close to the school that she goes to but the people who live close to the school could be poor.

The main character in my book is pitied and looked down on due to being in a wheelchair. Because of this he dislikes leaving his house and being judged.

I do not think the world can live without discrimination due to all of the people in the world will not have the same opinion on certain things. furthermore people will judge and suspect certain things about people based on there actions or there personality, this is due to maybe growing up in a different time ara or how your parents have taught you or maybe because of a bad experience.

The book is basically about a little boy and his family but he the main problem is everyone he knows has different beliefs and thoughts so it's difficult for him to trust anyone. It's even hard to trust his own family. So to sum everything up Jude and her twin brother, Noah, are incredibly close. At thirteen, isolated Noah draws constantly and is falling in love with the charismatic boy next door, while daredevil Jude cliff-dives and wears red-red lipstick and does the talking for both of them. But three years later, Jude and Noah are barely speaking. Something has happened to wreck the twins in different and dramatic ways. until Jude meets a cocky, broken, beautiful boy, as well as someone else—an even more unpredictable new force in her life. The early years are Noah's story to tell. The later years are Jude's. What the twins don't realize is that they each have only half the story, and if they could just find their way back to one another, they’d have a chance to remake their world.

Tristan, Moustapha, DJ
1) I do not think a world without prejudice and discrimination is even possible because it is impossible to change the minds of people who favor it like 5 of the Supreme Court justices, but let's not get off track. 2) We have not seen any type of prejudice, discrimination or oppression in the novel towards the main character. Maybe, they put it in the end of the book. Or maybe they did not put prejudice, discrimination or oppression in the novel at all. For now, we have not seen any effect of prejudice, discrimination or oppression. For now.
