architecture- The China Central Television (CCTV) building; DuKai; a large outlandish central television building in China; because you can see the flash of light moving caused my cars its a sequence, birds-eye view to show how large it is compared to other building around it, leading lines draws you eyes to the sharp edges of the building and the car lights down below.

landscape- Color-Blind Photographer Captures Amazing Landscape Pictures; George Nacpil; a landscape picture of a bridge reflecting in the water creating a circle; with the rule of the thirds, the line where the lake meets the ground and the 'top and bottom' of the bridge will follow along with the 3 horizontal lines. The photographer probably had to use photo assignment and wait for the sun to be perfect and cast the correct shadow for the look he wanted. this image was shot at worms-eye view, the angle is low to show how great and big the bridge looks.

macro- Macro Flower; a small flower in the foreground; framing, the pictures is majority blurred, but only the front most flower is in focus, from this you can tell that there are more flowers just like it behind it. the sizing of this photo is very zoomed in.

nature- 35 Beautiful and Stunning Wildlife Photography examples around the world; a few giraffes standing around with a bright sun behind them; the neck of the giraffes almost follow under the 3 lines of the rule of thirds; cooling colors make you feel relaxed and in awe.

photojournalism- Are photojournalists obligated to help in rescues?; Stanley Forman; a girl and her step mother falling after a fire escape broke; they fall in the line of symmetry, they are the only things in action, and telling a story.

street- NYC through a lens; Shaquel Munroe; Someone stood still in NYC in a puddle, you can see a cab and building behind it. the reflection from the puddle shows double the reflection in the picture. this could be cropped to get more of a feel for just the shoes and the reflection in the puddle.

travel- Ken Kaminesky; Ken Kaminesky; rocks and coral along a seaside. cropping to make the picture more precise, there is some curvature in the picture that doesn't follow lines of symmetry.

vernacular- American Portraits: Midwest Mundane Vernacular Photography of Michigan; a man holding his child while smoking a cigarette; there aren't really any lines to follow, but the image could be cropped to tell more of a story with just the father and daughter.
