The former-Chipotle employee who dissed his wages in a tweet, got fired, sued Chipotle and won. He made a tweet about his low wage on twitter and the company fired him. He sued, won the case, and was offered his job back and pay for his lost wages.
I am oppose this firing because his tweet wasn't that bad and their policy was too strict.

I am oppose this firing because it was an innocent joke. Many people tell jokes to make light of situations, also, he's a comedian.

The former-MLB pitcher who drunk-tweeted racially offensive comments during a game. He attended an NBA match in which the San Antonio Spurs beat the Dallas Mavericks. After the game, he tweeted: “Congrats to all the dirty Mexicans in San Antonio.”
I am in favor in this firing as much as I am opposed to it. It was very offensive but he's a sports guy + he was drunk. He deserves maybe a suspension or probation but not to be fired.

One student tweeted at the school “@FCPSMaryland close school tammarow PLEASE.” Seeing this as an educational opportunity, Nash tweeted back “But then how would you learn to spell ‘tomorrow’? J.” Katie was asked to delete the post, apologize to the student, and was let go shortly after.

Balaskas was issued a warning, and before the university had a chance to ask him to remove the posts, Facebook blocked and deleted them. Balaskas had a different viewpoint, however, believing he had a responsibility to “promote and bring awareness of historical circumstances” to his followers. He reposted the deleted posts and was fired shortly after.
