To this world I am the eldest daughter, I am more than just a title I am a foundation, a guiding light, and a quiet strength within my family and beyond. To the world, I am a bridge between generations, balancing tradition and progress while carrying the weight of expectations with ability to last. I am the first to experience, the first to learn, and often the first to make sacrifices, all in the name of love and responsibility.

From an early age, I have understood the importance of setting an example, not just for my younger sibling but for everyone who looks up to me. I am a protector, ensuring the well-being of those around me, even when my own burdens feel heavy. I am a nurturer, offering support and love in times of need, sometimes even before being asked. I am the one who steps up when things become difficult, who finds solutions when problems arise, and who remains strong even when I feel weak.

To the world, I am a reflection of both duty and ambition. While I honor my responsibilities, I also strive to carve out my own identity, to dream beyond expectations, and to build a future that is uniquely mine. I understand that my journey is not just about me it is about those who come after me, about breaking barriers while preserving values, about leading with both heart and wisdom.

I am the eldest daughter a protector, a guide, a dreamer, and a fighter. I am both the soft voice that comforts and the strong hand that holds everything together. I am the past, the present, and the future, carrying the lessons of those before me while paving the way for those who follow. To the world, I may be one person, but to my family and those who rely on me, I am everything.

This image is a word cloud that visually represents three of the most iconic luxury fashion brands: Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and Dior. The design arranges these brand names in various sizes, colors, and orientations to create an eye-catching composition. The size of each word typically reflects its prominence or frequency, making it easy to see which brands are emphasized more. Chanel is prominently displayed in bold black and blue text, Louis Vuitton appears in shades of purple, red, and green, while Dior is shown in green, red, blue, and black. The overall shape of the word cloud resembles a rotated square or diamond, giving it a dynamic and abstract form. This artistic presentation uses a modern, sans-serif font that aligns well with the sleek and elegant image of luxury fashion. The vibrant mix of colors and varied word placement not only highlights the individuality of each brand but also creates a sense of movement and energy. This type of word art is often used in fashion blogs, marketing materials, and social media to convey themes of style, sophistication, and high-end branding in a visually appealing way.

Bound by Friendship: Our Nation’s Allies

If the Philippines were to strengthen its international alliances, Japan and Australia would be two of the best countries to partner with. Japan, known for its technological innovation and cultural discipline, has long been a valuable friend to the Philippines. It has supported the country through various infrastructure projects like the Metro Manila Subway and provided consistent humanitarian aid during natural disasters. Japan's strong educational system also makes it an attractive ally. A deeper alliance could open more opportunities for Filipino students through scholarships, exchange programs, and advanced technical training.

Meanwhile, Australia stands out as a reliable defense and education partner. The Philippines and Australia have a strong military relationship, highlighted by joint training and cooperation under the Status of Visiting Forces Agreement (SOVFA). This enhances the Philippines’ ability to respond to both natural and man-made threats. Additionally, Australia's world-class education system has already benefited many Filipino scholars. A stronger alliance would mean greater access to Australian universities, professional development, and cross-cultural learning experiences.

Together, Japan and Australia offer the Philippines a powerful combination of technological expertise, defense cooperation, and educational support making them ideal allies in both regional and global affairs.

The poster titled “Building a Stronger ASEAN!” showcases the unity and diversity of the ten ASEAN member countries: the Philippines, Vietnam, Laos, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, Thailand, Myanmar, and Cambodia. Surrounding the official ASEAN emblem are the national flags of these nations, symbolizing their shared commitment to cooperation, peace, and progress. Despite differences in culture, language, and development levels, the countries stand united under the ASEAN vision of regional stability and collective growth.

One of ASEAN’s greatest strengths lies in its economic diversity and cultural richness. The region is home to over 600 million people and offers a wide range of resources and specialties from Brunei’s oil reserves to the Philippines’ skilled labor force and Vietnam’s agricultural exports. ASEAN also plays a crucial role in promoting peace through diplomacy and non-interference in domestic affairs, making it a stable and resilient regional bloc. The collaboration among member nations during natural disasters and health crises is a clear example of their solidarity and mutual support.

Looking to the future, ASEAN holds tremendous potential to become a global economic force. With initiatives like the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), the region aims to establish a single market and production base that will improve trade, boost job creation, and encourage innovation. Stronger cooperation in education, climate action, and technology will pave the way for sustainable development. By fostering stronger people-to-people connections through tourism, exchange programs, and cultural engagement, ASEAN can build deeper trust and unity. Together, these efforts will ensure that ASEAN continues to grow stronger, more connected, and more influential on the global stage.

"Building Tomorrow: Pathways to Sustainable Cities"

I. Introduction

As a student and future city-dweller, I believe that sustainable cities begin with responsible actions, community-based innovations, and smart planning. To make cities truly sustainable, we must solve major urban challenges with practical and inclusive solutions that not only reduce environmental harm but also improve the quality of life for everyone.

II. Student-Proposed Solutions for a Sustainable City

a. Reduction of Plastics

My Solution:
"Campus to Community Refill Hubs"

I propose establishing refill stations in schools, malls, and barangays where people can refill essentials like shampoo, detergent, and cooking oil using reusable containers. These stations would reduce single-use plastics by offering discounts to those who bring their own bottles.

Illustration Idea: A simple refill station with people bringing their own containers labeled "Refill, Reuse, Reduce."

b. High Rates of Electricity

My Solution:
"Solar-Share Programs for Schools and Barangays"

I suggest launching solar-sharing initiatives, where public schools and barangay halls install solar panels and share excess electricity with nearby homes at lower rates. This promotes renewable energy while reducing dependence on the grid.

Illustration Idea: A school rooftop with solar panels and lines connecting to homes, with a sun symbol powering it all.

c. Traffic Congestion

My Solution:
"Smart Bike Hubs with Student Discounts"

Cities should promote bike lanes and establish bike-sharing hubs near schools, MRT/LRT stations, and offices. With student discounts or free rides during peak hours, more people will use bikes instead of cars or jeepneys.

Illustration Idea: A group of students using a bike lane beside a busy road, with a sign reading “Fast, Free, and Green.”

d. Inflation

My Solution:
"Urban Student Gardens & School Market Days"

To fight rising food prices, schools and youth groups can plant vegetable gardens and hold monthly market days where they sell their produce affordably. This teaches self-sufficiency and eases the burden of food costs.

Illustration Idea: Students watering plants in recycled containers, with signs saying “Grow Your Own Food.”

e. Urban Planning

My Solution:
"Youth-Driven Urban Design Challenges"

Cities should hold urban planning competitions for students, letting young people submit ideas for parks, bike lanes, or green zones. The best ideas can be piloted in small barangays.

III. Conclusion

As a student, I believe that small, community-based actions can lead to major changes when done consistently and creatively. By starting from our schools and extending to our barangays, we can shape cities that are not only smart and green but also inclusive and livable. The future of sustainable cities lies in youth involvement, shared responsibility, and everyday innovation.

I chose Buddhism because of its peaceful teachings and focus on self-awareness. It teaches the Four Noble Truths, which help us understand and overcome suffering. I admire the Eightfold Path, a guide to living with mindfulness, kindness, and right actions.

Buddhism also promotes nonviolence, compassion, and detachment from material desires, which I believe are important in today’s fast-paced and stressful world.
