Students will use IXL, a web based Math learning tool. This program allows students to practice problems at their own pace. Topics are organized by grade level and students can discover content beyond their current grade if they choose to. They can compare their progress as they keep practicing. Parents can get reports on their children to measure how much time the kids are spending on topics as well.

Students will use Google Docs to generate math word problems to share with the rest of the class. They can choose to make the problem as challenging as their imagination will allow, but the only catch is they need to be able to solve it themselves and it must have a real answer. This fun lesson allows students to demonstrate creativity, combine English, teach, and also collaborate with their classmates.
