1st person is when you got the narrator telling the story as it flows. When you have third person, you have a person that's not the narrator but still telling the story. For example, when Andy was telling the story, he was telling how he was feeling and how he thought of him going to college.Take another example as mom,she was telling the story how she felt about Andy going to college and also her thoughts Also her emotions mattered like her face emotes, and her body language. Then the last example as Woody. He was not telling the story so its third person. His feelings and thoughts were being told by someone else from the outside.Overall, first person is stronger than third person.

First person POV is stronger than Third person POV. I know that because in first person you know the thoughts and feelings of the main character. It is stronger since THEY witnessed it and THEY saw it. You can also feel the emotions during the story. It gives stronger details then you would see in third person. In third person the author is NOT in the story and you CAN'T feel the emotions. That is because it isn't coming from their brain. They either heard about or someone told them. It doesn't give as strong details as third person. That is why first person is stronger than third person.

In first person you can feel the emotions more than it would be in third person. In first person the narrator experienced it. Also in First person you can feel sad if a character is sad because it happened to them. In third person someone is telling something that they heard and you can't really go alone with there emotions. Say that someone was crying it wouldn't make me sad because it is talking about someone and they are talking about how it happened to someone else so it didn't happen to them.
