SoJo is the new role that media is trying to play in society, where journalist becomes actor of change by showing how the change is happening in reality. I want students to know this and to follow this model, because like for every other good citizen we have to connect our work, to measure our deeds to the good impact that creates in the other people’s life. This lesson is going to help them to understand that good journalism is not just by showing what is bad, but how can be changed, how can be fixed.

Role play was en excellent method. They tested their approaches to SoJo and through discussions things become clearer to them. As a result, the last pairs had time to correct and polish their pitches.
I liked the fact that students were able to search that day stories from Finland to pitch. Applying the lesson learned in such a short time it shows they I have succeeded on delivering it.
Two students were not able to participate in discussions, because they were not confident on using their English language. Agreeing with their professor to use English during the lecture and seminar made me to believe that students had no problem with it. Maybe I should have asked students myself before the lecture and seminar to find a solution if the language was an obstacle for the students to participate.
Probably the English skills was the problem for 4 students of the Group A to not produce a story and they were to shy to admit it.

After I answered their questions, I got the impression that students wanted more about my life experience as a journalist, Probably bringing up my stories that have inside parts of the Albanian reality that I wanted to highlight, could have been better to save time. Anyway, I think is not always possible to count the time like a chronometer. This becomes more difficult when you are talking about your life, because is difficult not to be subjective
