It is also found in some other plants, but the rate is much lower than that of the tobacco. Pharmacological effects of nicotine include; caffeine, but it is both stimulating and relaxing. Nicotine is poisonous when taken at levels much higher than that of cigarette smoke. Most public health officials think that nicotine stimulates the central nervous system, leading to addiction.</div>]]></description>
