April, 28, 1939- Hitler announces his plan to take polish corridor back. If he does take it back Britain and France threatened the war, and Hitler is scared of the Soviet Union. 

August, 23, 1939- Hitler and Stalin sign the 10- year non- aggression pact. Hitler was taken as a person to hate communists, therefore many people are shocked/surprised that this happened.

August 31, 1939 - German soldiers dress in disguise, they sneak across the border to prepare for attack of Poland. 

September 1, 1939 - Hitler and Stalin invade Poland. It takes them both about a week to take over.

June 10, 1940 - Italy attacks France from the south and Germany attacks from Belgium. 

June 22, 1940 - France falls, and is forced to sign surrender. All while Hitler captures Paris. The French keep bottom 1/3 of France and Germany gets top 2/3 of France.

May 28th - June 4th, 1940 - Germany pushes allies back to Dunkirk beach. - Germans move into France through the Ardennes forest, blitzkrieg.

Summer of 1940 - Hitler lends Luftwaffe (2600 planes) to knock out the Royal Air Force (700 planes). - Britain develops radars, he could then see the planes coming, Germany could not succeed in bombing raids. 

July - December of 1940 - Battle of Britain (all air battles) - people are sleeping in su ways, bombing every night for 2 months in London.
