I was exposed to a lot of different books considering my dad had almost a whole library in our basement. I remember really liking the ones that had all the different races of people for example a book called " I am whole" and another one of my favorites was "a color of his own" they both talked about diversity, although there wasn't a lot of that the very few that I did find became my all time favorites very quickly. They made me feel good about how I looked and my skin color but also I helped me know not to just focus on that but to know that even with others, we are all beautiful.
