Music: I define music as a group of sounds that come together to create a new sound where then it can be enjoyed by a listener. Just like when you gather ingredients and other foods to make a meal, music is made in the same way. Just like food, everyone has a different taste. Music is a big part of my life, as an artist (photographer), I can appreciate someone else's work because I know how much dedication and effort it takes. My favorite kind of music is Hip-Hop/Rap because it holds many characteristics of what I like. I like soulful music, meaningful music, music that makes you think, music that makes you get goosebumps, music that makes you sad, music that makes you happy, music that energizes the soul, and music that appreciates older music. Hip-Hop/Rap has all these characteristics one way or the other.
