  • Practise using embedded quotations for quotes
Work on Creative Writing:
  • Continue your own writing projects, work on your goals and reflect on your progress
  • Write a story/comic based around an achievement/overcoming obstacles/hitting goals. How do the characters feel/think/change?
  • Rewrite a well-known story but change the main character an inspirational figure/yourself
  • Write a first person recount in role as a historical figure or inspirational achiever
  • Write poetry about inspiration/goals/ dreams/having an impact

  • Research your own wonderings about inspiration
  • Interview a relative, family friend (or any trusted adult) on their inspirations, beliefs, values, goals, challenges achievements and attitudes. Take notes and think of how best to share them
  • Write personal recounts about your beliefs and values; significant moments/people/places in your life; challenges you have overcome; your hopes and dreams
  • Research the life of an inspirational figure (family/friend/celeb/historical figure etc). Take notes and write them up
  • Use a variety of sources to take notes (Brainpop, documentaries, websites, encyclopaedias, interviews, books, magazines, news articles, music etc)
  • Research inspirational images: people; places; music; quotes. How do they achieve their purpose?
  • Create your own inspirational images
  • Compare achievers or achievements: what connections and differences can you identify? 
  • Write a reflection on your own goals- how are you doing? What is helping? How could you be doing it better?
