The video was great at explaining the history of women in technology, especially in computer science and IT. The part where they introduced some important pioneers like Ada Lovelace stood out to me and was the most inspiring. I believe that I got pushed towards STEM subjects at a young age by society's belief that it is easier to succeed in the field rather than humanities. I didn't enjoy CS classes I took before due to the fact that it was very male-dominated and I never felt respected.
