1 Floors. The Chumash dug floors 18 inches deeps into the ground. They stamped the dirt down to make it hard. 2 Wooden poles. They bent wooden poles to form the frame. Willow branches were set sideways on the frame. Smoke escaped through a hole in the roof. Bunches of bulrush or cattails covered the outside of the frame. 3 Doorways. Doorways were covered with a mat of weeds. 4 Fire. A fire at the center warmed the house. 😄

I noticed that the desert and coast have their house made out of sticks.

1. The desert's house is made out of cold sticks to keep them cold because in the desert it is hot.

2. The cost uses worm sticks to keep them worm so that thay don't get cold.

I notice the coast has different resources from mountains shelter,both are different because coasts have like pieces of wood and stacks they do so find mud and dry leaf but mountains they cut trees and use dem to build and they oh so find pieces of rock to protect the house!
