There was the LISA Project, which stood for Local Integrated Software Architecture, but was really named after Jobs' daughter. Then there was the side project that jobs worked on after he was booted from the LISA team, the Macintosh. Jobs envisioned the Macintosh as an inexpensive computer, compared to others during that time period,  that was made for general consumer use. Many features in the Macintosh were things that Jobs had seen in a demonstration at Xerox, such as a mouse and a file system. Jobs took total control over the project, forcing people to work extra hours to make the computer suit his wants and desires. Pancreatic cancer is one of the most lethal cancers, and 37,000 people on average die every year. His frail appearance at a recent conference was shocking to many people. Now knowing what is wrong clears things up. No one know how long he has had the tumor and no one knows how long he will live, or If he will survive through it. The world is shocked, and we'll just have to wait and see the outcome. Amazing things came from Pixar, such as Toy Story, the first fully animated movie to hit theaters. Many other classic movies came from Pixar such as; Up, Monsters Inc., Cars, The Incredibles, Inside-out, Ratatouille, Finding Nemo,  and WALL-E. Around when Apple Computer First Started, it was sued for its name by Apple Corps, the British music producer created by the Beatles. Both companies kept their names, but Apple Corps had to stick to music, and Apple Computer could not distribute music. In 2003, Apple Computer decided to break that rule, and introduced the iPod and iTunes. Apple Corp sued again but lost.
