This will be an inquiry based unit.  We have decided that the there are several types of technology tools that are appropriate and effective for this unit.  One is an online structured webquest that also plays the role of a graphic organizer.

MOVING UP THE SAMR MODEL-
The Webquest and WeVideo presentation are projects that redefine the type of learning using technology instead of just replacing paper with a Google Doc.

Since I do not teach Social Studies, it will provide the students with a most specific knowledge tied to Of Mice and Men, which will increase their understanding of the context the story is set in which will greatly help understand the plot, theme, character motivations and overall meaning of the novel.
