Jarret Allen, known as Spellcasting online, is my first inspiration. He makes electronic music, and most of his songs have a crunchy, video game aesthetic to them. The way he inspires me is through the way he uses sounds in his songs, and the vibe that his songs give off. He mainly uses synths in his songs, and each synth has its place in the song, none sound out of place. The way each synth is created depends on the song and the vibe he's going for. In his song "five magic songbirds softly sing the wizard to sleep", the synths used at the beginning have a soft sound, and with the edited envelope, they produce a chirping effect. The synths used after that for the melody are even softer, making a soft whistling sound. The vibe that his songs give off is silly and lighthearted, and his songs have this specific charm to them that no other songs can replicate. This vibe combined with the video game aesthetic makes songs that are unique and fun. In "dancing around in circles until my little feet fall off", he has given the whole song a clown theme, using synths that make you feel like you're in a fun carnival, combined with the honks to make it truly clown themed.

Kanako Takatsuki, known as Kinchan by fans, is my second inspiration. She is a singer and voice actor known for being the seiyuu of Hanamaru Kunikida from Aqours in Love Live! Sunshine!!, however, she has also made songs separate from her character. The way she inspires me is through her confidence and strong vocals, among other things. Her confidence has been present even before she officially started voicing Hanamaru. On the day that she was auditioning to be a character in Love Live! Sunshine!!, she thought, "When it comes to singing, there’s no way I could lose to anyone!". While her confidence may have wavered during the audition and Aqours' training camp (Hunter, 2016), she pushed through and is now able to sing on stage in front of thousands of people. Her vocals are also something that inspire me a lot. The way she sings with so much power and emotion, plus the way she softens her voice when she's singing as Hanamaru, is impressive. The energy and passion in her vocals are something I aspire to have, and it's impressive how she's able to keep that same energy and passion when she's performing on stage.
