What is the problem and what are the root causes of the problems?

The problem is terrorism around the middle east are causing great loss of life and terror. Most of the problems that are happening are coming from terrorist groups such as Alqueda and Isis. Although these groups have become greatly weakened, they are becoming more and more dangerous. Terrorism deaths have increased enormously since 1970. 1970 is when terrorism was starting to be recorded. in 1970 106 people died from terrorism. In 2018 however 153 people died on the first day of January. And through the whole year of 2018 24,202 people died from terrorism. Terrorism is mostly influenced by religion. The reason that terrorist attacks happen is because the terrorist groups want to "purify the world" of any Christian or Jewish scum. Terrorist attacks happen most frequently in: northern South America, Northern Africa, Central Africa, The middle east, Pakistan, Nepal, and the Philippines.

Terrorist attacks map around the world..

How has terrorism affected the community directly?

Terrorism is affecting the community greatly by making people more and more anxious, and nervous. This is especially true in countries in the middle east. Examples of this are when in Italy there was a fake terrorist attack and then during a soccer game they heard a loud bang which was just fireworks, but everyone started to stampede out. This is just one example of how terrorism is affecting people. Nowadays people have become so paranoid and stressed that it is hurting themselves. False terrorism is another issue that is affecting people. Although it is punishable by up to 5 years in jail, most suspects can get away in the chaos. False terrorism and real terrorism are huge issues that need to be solved in order restore peace in the communities that have been greatly affected by terrorism.

Isis marching to a village and about to take it.

Why should the rest of the world be concerned about

Terrorism is something you should be concerned about because it can happen at any time and at any place. And there is little you can do to prepare for it. People are dying every day from extremists groups such as Alqueda the Taliban and Isis. Since the 9/11 attacks terrorism has been at its highest. People are dying every day from terrorist attacks and you could die too. Terrorism has greatly increased in the past decade, and terrorist group are taking advantage of the people who don't care about terrorism and it effects on people. You might have not cared about terrorism in 1970, and that was fine. Terrorism attacks in 2018 have increased by 2,,500 times. At this point terrorism is no longer an isolated issue in the middle east. It has become a worldwide issue, and at this point if you are not acknowledging the threat than you are almost as bad as the terrorists

Number of terrorist incidents around the world.

The Government is trying to inform citizens about terrorism . They are saying the more about terrorism you know the more you can be mentally prepared to act. They are sending out forms to people who are concerned about terrorism. The forms tell you what you should do if there is a gunman, stabber, truck driver etc. Of course you will have to make a split second decision about what you do. The government is also telling people about R.H.F. Run, Hide, Fight. If you can run away from the terrorist. If you can't hide and barricade yourself from him. If neither of those are an option fight him. These are just a few ways to be prepared for terrorism.

One of the many terrorism handbooks.

Hey let me tell you about the bombing that happened in Baghdad. I woke up and I was getting into my car for work. When BANG my windows shattered from the explosion that just happened. I ran out of the garage and saw bodies mangled on the ground. It was't like a movie, it was different. They lied in odd positions. Like rag dolls. I watched the news, and found out that there was a terrorist attack. I knew had I left a minute earlier I would have died. That was the first time that I realized terrorism is not an issue in a far off land, and now I stay more and more aware about terrorism.
