I am Mina Cho. I am this year's Public Relations Manager for District 17, and will be your presenter for the Branding Workshop this Sunday. I am truly honoured to be leading this workshop.
Well, a small disclaimer here - I am not perfect and you will definitely see some of my imperfections on the day. What I can promise you though is that I have studied and given a lot of thoughts to how to deliver this workshop to be most practical for you.

What I want to get out of this workshop is:
Not to bore you to death with presentation and to give you the confidence to create brand-compliant promotional materials!

I am Mina's husband, Tom Bielski. I am also the District Webmaster this year (2021-22). I was Area Director, Division Director, and District Public Relations Officer previously. My greatest achievement in Toastmasters is winning the District 17 International Speech Contest in 2021. And I have just lodged my third Distinguished Toastmaster award.
I have a long way to go in becoming the speaker and leader I want to be. I want to be around people who can help me, and whom I can help.

Hi, I am Gavin Hyslop your Club Growth Director for this year, most people call me Gav.
I have been a Division Director for the past 2 years and an Area Director for the 2 years before that, it seems to take me 2 years to get things right in these roles.
My greatest satisfaction in Toastmasters is hearing stories from people about how being part of Toastmasters has changed their life in some way, either personally or professionally. Even better if you know that you have been part of helping that person.
From this workshop, I am hoping to learn something about branding that I can apply in my role and to help other clubs with their own club marketing.

^G'day ^{my name is Patricia King, but, I go by the name of Pat. Last year I was the Area Director for S34 now newly aligned as S33.
I am also VPE for Donnybrook and Club coach for Jetty.
This year my role is Parliamentarian for the District. I'm looking forward to the challenges this role will present and how I can contribute to the District.
I love the opportunities that Toastmasters gives me to learn and enhance my knowledge. I'm always up to learning a new skill and then I can go on to share with others.

Hi ,my name is Henry Yau and i am the current Immediate Past District Director of District 17. I admit i'm not good at these new technology but i am excited to try new things. My passion is to promote the Toastmaster's International Pathways program. Being a Toastmaster since 2009 i have seen the positive changes in myself and there is no greater feeling than to give back to an organisation that has shaped me the person who i am now. I'm excited for the future of our District moving forward.

My name is Viola Dondo. The past 2 years have transformed my life in ways I never imagined were possible. I have connected with many more people than before.

I am honored to be serving as President of a great club that has been president distinguished since inception. Serving as a remote president just goes to show the dedication of the team on the ground. I am blessed to be in such great company!

I want to learn as much as I can and discover the opportunities out there.
Toastmasters has become more relevant than ever before in my life. I like the person I am becoming as I am learn every day.
I will learn as if I were to live forever!

Hi All,
I am Clare and I first stepped into Toastmasters District 17 Bunbury, in Nov 2020. That was only 8 years after I first heard about Toastmasters and was recommended to attend a meeting!

I did eventually join toastmasters when i recently moved to Bunbury primarily for engaging with the local community and for my self development & speaking confidently. I soon discovered how much I can learn from my fellow members in the club and really experience participating in a more enjoyable life through friendly, coherent & articulate personal + professional speaking/conversation. I love so much about being in Toastmasters, and how the club continues to challenge, support and inspire. I walk away from every meeting feeling like I’ve learnt and grown in many ways. I have a lot to learn in speech presentation, content and speaking skills.

When the VP of Public Relations role became available at District 17 I was encouraged to take it on & am excited to do this. There are so many tools available for promoting the club, building membership and creating real time collaboration & communication for existing members.
I would like to learn in this workshop the protocol around Toastmasters branding, learning about target audience and some ideas for telling the core TM message and leveraging free online platforms for doing all of the above in a streamlined way.

Hi my name is Deanna. I am currently the vice president public relations for the Northbridge Toastmasters club. Like Henry Iam not very good with the new technology but I am willing & able to give it my best shot.

I want to learn how to do a fancy page on Facebook & how to present pictures visually pleasing to the eye with an attempt to catch the eye of on lookers & draw them to participate in Toastmasters & in particular draw them to the Northbridge club as we are so short of members.

I am the VPPR for Mundaring Toastmasters Club. I've held this role before but am not very creative when it comes to producing promotional material. I'm also not very tech savvy, so am keen to learn how to use an "easy" tool so I can promote the club on facebook, club website as well as fliers and posters

My name is Dennis Chong. I have been with Toastmasters International for five years. I have lots of funs with TI and enjoy listening to the speeches from members which I can reflect in my life. Currently I am the VPPR for Noranda Toastmasters Club and the Secretary for Off-the-Cuff Toastmasters Club.

I want to learn how to promote a club using the new tool Canvas. I would like to learn from the experienced Canvas users on the advantages and disadvantages of using Canvas, tips for effective promotion and pitfalls to avoid. Also, I am taking this opportunity to get to know other VPPR's.

My name is Lily and I am club secretary of Aspire in Subiaco. I am looking forward to this workshop to help improve my club's website within the Toastmasters guidelines.
Being fairly new to Toastmasters, I would like to know the boundaries of what I can do and what I cannot do when it comes to branding and design.
I enjoy doing visual things so this workshop is a great way to try something new that is a bit outside my usual.

I'm Kym Godfrey currently VPM at Banyandah Toastmasters, formerly Eastern Division Director 20/21, Area Director N23 19/20. I've done this training before, but never used Canva, so I definitely need a refresher and look forward to using it to make more attractive promotional material that will help bring people to meetings and events. I am a member of 9 clubs.

I am good: just learning- crazy! I am fondly known as Coach and I have a DTM in both the Legacy Program and in Pathways.

I am a Past Area Director, A Past Division Director; and I have done all club leadership roles except Treasurer 😂. I am currently a club Sponsor, Club Mentor and hope to find an opportunity fo Coach a club. I am also currently Club President of an Advanced Club, Secretary for 2 Clubs and SAA in another of my clubs.
I am a team leader in a Mentoring without Borders programme in D74 where I am also The Coordinator for Speechcraft & Youth Leadership.

I am hoping to learn generally on branding.
Though passionate about branding : I am fresh from Grade z e r o in real branding work. Any knowledge from this session will be a plus😂
