Growing up in Sto. Niño, Toledo City, Cebu, I found myself as the youngest member of a small family. I always gravitated towards activities that challenged my mind and sparked my creativity. Games like chess and Uno were my favorites, as they allowed me to exercise strategic thinking. But it was in art that I truly found my passion. Whether drawing or painting, art became my sanctuary, a place where I could freely express myself and find inner peace.

I strongly believe in treating others with kindness, empathy, and understanding. This principle guides my interactions with people from all walks of life, as I recognize and value the diverse experiences and perspectives that each individual brings to the table.

Looking ahead, I am driven by a deep-seated desire to overcome obstacles and create a path of success for both myself and my family. Pursuing a degree in engineering is not just a personal goal; it's a testament to my determination and dedication. With every step I take, I am fueled by the hope of making my mother proud and honoring her sacrifices. Through hard work, perseverance, and a steadfast commitment to my aspirations, I am confident that I can turn my dreams into reality and build a brighter future for us all.

Fear is a powerful emotion that can deeply influence our actions and decisions. For me, one of the most profound fears I face is the fear of failure. It's a fear deeply rooted in my desire to meet the expectations of those around me and the high standards I set for myself.

Growing up in a supportive family, I was fortunate to have parent who encouraged me to do my best without imposing unrealistic expectations. However, despite their supportive attitude, I developed a strong internal pressure to excel. This drive to succeed originated from within me, fueled by a mix of personal ambition and the fear of disappointing those who believed in me.

While the fear of failure remains a significant part of who I am, I've come to realize that it doesn't have to define me. By acknowledging this fear and understanding its roots, I've been able to better manage its impact on my life. Embracing a supportive environment, setting realistic goals, and practicing self-compassion have been crucial steps in overcoming this fear.

In the end, failure is not a definitive end but a stepping stone to growth and improvement. As I continue to navigate my academic and personal journey, I strive to view failures as opportunities to learn and evolve. This perspective has transformed my fear into a driving force for continuous self-improvement and resilience.
