One of the biggest philanthropist during the Industrial Revolution was Andrew Carnegie. He donated millions of dollars. His favorite thing to do was build libraries because he loved helping education. When he died he had donated more than half of his life earnings.</div>]]></description>

Due to the Industrial Revolution Farmers decreased because many people were moving to cities and starting to work at factories. Farmers started to overproduce due to new equipment from new inventions and this caused them to go into debt. Farming is still a big part of our economy today and will continue to be in the future</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>My connection to this era is in fourth grade when our whole grade went on a trade ride. It was the train right by the Hartville Chocolate factory. It just shows how trains have kept on being involved in the economy.  Trains are evolving and becoming better at transporting people and goods across the country.</div>]]></description>
