There are a few tests that can be done to test for it. You can do genetic tests, skin biopsy, or a

echochardiogram. Aslo a blood sample is taken from your arm to test for any mutations.

How can this be treated?

There are three different options to treat EDS. One treatment is physical therapy. Another way to treat it is to have surgery to repair the damaged joints. The third option would be to take drugs to minimize the pain.

You can talk to a genetic

counselor about having kids or not.

Also you can avoid injury and hurting yourself.

Also reduced clutter helps lower risk.
