In this training she explores the idea of a "Word Wall" for classrooms. This is a really valuable tool. Perhaps she could come to February training and lead everyone in a training on this resource.

PD. We like the idea of teacher-led groups as we have done in the past. We liked today's provided data behind the focus of vocabulary- it would be helpful for teachers to see this type of information! We need tools, resources, and examples (like Jana's Mehendi). This will help teachers to see just how easy it is- for example "use it in your warm up." It would be helpful to sit down with grade level teachers at PD to make their list of 30 vocabulary words. We can then look at vertically aligning those words with other grade level teachers.
