Being raised in the Kurohi Clan, Etrius is fairly built, agile and strong.  

For clothing Etrius prefers something 'simple' ranging from little colors other than black or red. But his main outfit consists of a black trench coat with rolled up sleeves that reach his elbows. And his clan symbol on the back of his coat. Underneath he wears a red dress shirt and cardigan. As he also wears dark grey pants and black boots.

Unlike other weapons with many modifications, this Katana is only embedded with a red crystal inside the hilt which only the 'chosen' can bring out it's true power. Anyone who wields it can only bring out small portions of it's power but at the cost of one's energy. Etrius was the first born and was raised in the village outside the kingdoms. Taught how to fight at an early age, Etrius went through harsh training and survival against the grimm. Being considered a prodigy among the clan members, Etrius was considered to be the next chosen warrior to wield Crimson Princess. But once his sister Hana was born a year after him, she also showed more progress and eventually stole his place which completely overshadowed Etrius's abilities and efforts. Being second best among the family, Etrius had begun to hate his new destiny within the clan but accepts the fact Hana was the chosen one. The night before the sword was going to be handed down to Hana, there was a sudden attack from the grimm during the night. Taken by surprise the clan members soon fought for their home but later discover the White Fang was behind the attack and were after the next chosen warrior. Being overwhelmed by the grimm and white fang many Kurohi members has fallen including Etrius's parents. After witnessing the death of his sister at the hands of Adam Taurus, Etrius swore to get revenge against the White Fang, especially Adam who had slain both his parents and sister. Quickly fleeing his village with Crimson Princess, Etrius headed towards Vale and eventually joined Beacon Academy after discovering that the White Fang's attack was orchestrated to eliminate the entire clan. Now being what's left of Black Fire, Etrius spends most of his time at Beacon, training for the day he will get his revenge.

Proficient in hand-to-hand combat, Etrius is able to take down or hold targets with ease. Trained with the use of the Katana, Etrius is knowledgeable of advanced sword techniques and forms. Making him dangerous in close combat. His most natural ability is his speed and agility, making complex and unpredictable movements & dodges from attacks.

Abilities
Blood Zone - Part of the Kurohi's ability to go into a state of extreme focus and killing instinct. Inside this state, Etrius's power, stamina, Aura, and focus is heightened but only for a short amount of time.  Once used, Etrius will have exhausted all of his stamina and strength. In order to enter this state Etrius must drink a small portion of his own blood. 


Princess Plays With Fire - The nature of the crystal it is efficient with fire. Once used with dust it is able to wrap flames around the blade which makes every blow more powerful.

Power Slash - Using the power of the crystal, Etrius is able to create an energy slash that can be sent to any target from a distance. Combined with the flames it can be more deadly.

Semblance techniques
Teleportation - Etrius is able to teleport any where but only to a limited distance. Using this technique constantly will drain his stamina and also his aura.

Crimson Blade Dance - Combined with his teleportation, Etrius is able to launch a series of rapid slashes to a target from all directions.

Afterimage - Because of his speed and the nature of his semblance he is able to create an after image of himself by teleporting at high speeds which is useful for decoys.
