This part reminded me of my ethics class. We discussed if a person is guilty if that person had motives. As per example, a father kills a pedophile because that person raped his daughter. Is that person guilty? If so, why? It is these kind of questions we ask ourselves in court, if it is justified.

Steve’s case is getting worse since Bobo’s testimony, because the testimony mentions them knowing each other, so O’Brien teaches him how to answer to questions asked by the court. Moore, Nipping, Sawicki and Steve present their testimony in Part 5 and in Part 6, Sawicki’s testimony continues and it’s the changing point on how Steve is going to spend the rest of his youth. In Moore’s testimony, it shows that she is King’s cousin and seems to like him very much. King bought Moore a lamp with the money and that lamp broke before King and Steve were on trial. In Nipping’s testimony, he reveals that King is left-handed and that he’s known him for 17 to 18 years. Steve is confused an O’Brien explains that the wound was to the left, meaning the shooter could have been right-handed, but O’Brien says it’s a weak argument. In Steve’s testimony, he puts King, Bobo and Cruz as only acquaintances. He also shows no memory of being in the drugstore on that day, but he was taking mental notes of the neighbourhood. Sawicki’s testimony describes Steve as an aspiring filmmaker, through his logic which is an honest movie has an honest filmmaker. At the end of these testimonies, the jury is left to decide on the guilty factor. In the end, King is declared, guilty. Petrocelli however talks about how each factor in a robbery, from lookout to shooter should all be guilty. In the end, when Steve, goes to hug O’Brien, she declines. A few years later, his life is back to normal, only without his father. So he spends the rest of his youth filming himself with different costumes to try and find what his father and O’Brien saw when they looked at him.
