 Step One: Pick where you want to go: This could be both easy and hard. There are so many places out there to pick! You may have a long list of places you’d love to go see but you must narrow that down. 

Step Two: How long will you be gone? The length of your trip can be decided by many factors such as finances, job obligations, etc. 

Step Three: Research the costs: Traveling can be costly, there are ways to minimize expenses so it’s best to investigate that early on.

Step Four: Start saving money: Traveling costs money so start tucking away some money for your future travels 

Step Five: Book your flight: This is an exciting step! Finding the best prices for air plane tickets and booking your spot on the flight makes it more real. 

Step Six: Booking accommodations: Finding hotels, hostels, resorts, motels, inns, air B&B’s and booking rooms. 

Step Seven: Start planning activities: While it’s good to stay open and flexible while traveling, it’s always a good idea to look for places you’d like to visit or things you’d like to do while visiting a certain place. You don’t want to end up going home and regretting not doing something when you had the chance.

Step Eight: Pack your bags: Times almost here to go on vacation. Start packing your bags with everything (perhaps more) that you will need. Make sure to make a list of things you need to pack and double check it. 

Step Nine: Get travelers insurance: Travel insurance is cheap and totally worth it. You never know what might happen abroad. It’s better to be safe than sorry.

Step Ten: Enjoy your travels: It’s finally time, go have an amazing time!
