From our meetings,we have talked about some ethics(Adab) while seeking knowledge. I will give summary of our products from the meeting through this E-Portfolio:

1) Asked question when you don't understand

It is important for us to be brave to asked question when we are seeking knowledge. We shouldn't feel shy since shy while seeking knowledge is prohibited in our religion. This is to avoid any misunderstanding among us students. This facts is also supported from Hadith Jibril when Angel Jibril Asked some question from Prophet Muhammad SAW.

2)We need to be open and accept the knowledge we received while seking knowledge

This has become a major issues nowadays especially in terms of Religion knowledge. The ignorant and close-minded of the student has resulted in many casualties and problems such as misunderstanding between student and teacher, Some new Heresy created, and confusion among people in society.

3)We need to check and approved the validity of the information we have received

Nowadays, Fake news has become a major problem in our country. It has lead to confusion, dissatisfaction and hatred among society. It caused trouble, Fighting, and even killing if it was serious.

Week 5: Iman, Islam and Ihsan

Belief in Allah (Iman Billah)

Belief in Allah is the foundational pillar of faith in Islam. It means affirming that there is only one God, who is the Creator, Sustainer, and ultimate Judge of everything in existence. This belief guides us through several key concepts:

1. Tawhid (Oneness of Allah): All Muslims should believe that Allah is One and Only One, indivisible, and special/unique. There is nothing that is like Him or equivalent, and He has neither partners Nor challengers, wives or children, or equivalents. He is the only one worthy of worship from Human.

2. Attributes of Allah: Allah has many attributes and beautiful names (such as in Asma'ul Husna) which describe His nature, such as being Most Generous, The Almighty, All-Knowing, All-Powerful, Merciful, Just, and Everlasting. Every Muslims believe that Allah is beyond human comprehension, yet His qualities are manifested in the world around us.

3. Allah's Role: Allah is the creator of everything that exists and has complete control over the universe. Muslims believe that everything happens according to His will and wisdom, and that He alone has the power to give life and take it away.

Belief in the Angels (Iman Bil Mala'ika)

Belief in angels is another core aspect of Islamic faith. Angels are unseen beings created by Allah from light, and they serve various roles in executing Allah's commands in the universe.Though,It is important to notes that Allah doesn't need any helps from His creatures. The creation of Angels are solely to manifest and teaches Human that it is important to have great leadership and honesty on your leaders.

1. Nature of Angels: Unlike humans, angels have no free will and are entirely obedient to Allah. They do not sin or disobey Him, and they are not subject to human needs like eating or sleeping.

2. Roles of Angels: Each angel has specific duties. For example:

Jibril (Gabriel): The angel responsible for delivering revelation to the prophets, including the Quran to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

Mikail (Michael): The angel responsible for providing sustenance, such as rain and food for living creatures.

Israfil: The angel who will blow the trumpet to signal the Day of Judgment.

Malik and Ridwan: Angels in charge of Hell and Heaven, respectively.

Recording Angels: Each person is assigned two angels who record their good and bad deeds throughout their life.

3. Interactions with Humans: Though humans cannot see angels, they are always present, fulfilling their duties. For example, angels protect, guide, and record deeds, while others, like Jibril, have delivered messages directly to the prophets.

Belief in the Prophets (Iman Bil Rusul)

Belief in the prophets is a key element of Islamic faith. Muslims believe that Allah sent prophets and messengers to guide humanity and convey His message of worship and righteousness.

1. Purpose of Prophets: Prophets are chosen by Allah to call people to His worship and to live righteous lives. They remind people of Allah’s commands and lead by example. Prophets are sent to different nations at different times to deliver the same essential message: belief in One God and the guidance to live a moral life.

2. The Prophets: Muslims believe in all the prophets mentioned in the Quran, including:

Adam: The first prophet and human being.

Noah (Nuh), Abraham (Ibrahim), Moses (Musa), and Jesus (Isa): Great prophets who brought divine scriptures and laws to their communities.

Muhammad (peace be upon him): The final prophet, through whom the final revelation, the Quran, was delivered. Muslims believe that no prophet will come after him, and his message is for all of humanity.

3. Common Message: All prophets preached the same fundamental message of monotheism (Tawhid), calling their people to worship Allah alone and to follow His guidance. While they had different laws and scriptures (e.g., Torah, Psalms, Gospel), their core message was always consistent.

4. Respect for Prophets: Muslims hold all prophets in high regard and honor them, but they do not worship them. Instead, prophets are considered the best of humanity, chosen by Allah to deliver His messages.

---

Together, these three beliefs—belief in Allah, His angels, and His prophets—form a central part of the faith and guide Muslims in their understanding of the universe, their purpose in life, and the path to salvation.

In this Modern Day,It has become a concerns of many that many people are lacks of ethics(Adab) & Akhlak. It even become concerns in Muslim community that many of the believers are lacks of Akhlak and Adab towards Allah,Prophet, Religion,Other people and other things.

It has resulted in many bad scenario and consequences as we can see nowadays in TV'S screen so many crimes and immoral behavior is dominating the mind of younger generation.

We should take concerns about this.We also can learn some of stories related to Adab & Akhlak from Quran & Hadith. For an example, story Ibrahim try to bring his father to the right path while utilitise his Good Adab & Akhlak.

The story goes;

Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) was born into a society that worshiped idols, and his father, Azar, was an idol-maker. Ibrahim, even from a young age, believed in one God (Allah) and did not agree with idol worship.

He spoke to his father respectfully, trying to guide him away from worshiping idols. Ibrahim asked why his father worshiped things that could not hear, see, or help him. He advised his father to follow the path of truth and worship only Allah.

Despite Ibrahim’s respectful approach, his father rejected his message and even threatened to harm him. Instead of getting angry, Ibrahim remained calm, wished peace upon his father, and prayed for him.

This story teaches the importance of being respectful and patient with evryone especially our parent. May our parents be kept away from the punishment of hell and placed among the believers
