There is a need for groups like these because you never know what someone is going through and how you can help them. These groups recognize people struggling and help however they can, but they can't do it without your help. Kids and families all over are struggling financially, emotionally or any other way when someone in their family is diagnosed with cancer. Groups like these help and make their lives just a little bit easier.

They help families of any gender, race, age and cancer type. They pay for groceries, heat for your home, negotiating your rent, removing late fees, or avoiding eviction. Anything to help make you worry a little less.

While I didn't entirely understand what that meant or what was happening to him, I knew my family was struggling and I wasn't doing the best in school between all the hospital trips. My teachers had compassion for me and understood that schoolwork wasn't my family's number one priority. They would give me extensions and give me extra help until it all got better. Organizations like Bringing Hope Home can do small little things that benefit people and make their days just a little bit better.
