WHAT ABOUT US?

we are a book club, but not a simple one...Why? because we are here for making you like reading!

We know that it is boring for some people, so that is what we want to change.
Its´s important to clarify that we read Romance and Young adult books in this book club.
You can come and have a great time, make friends, and most imp
ortant: learn how to enjoy reading.

What about the people

The people we interviewed said that they are not used to read a lot in a year, most of them read only the book that school gave to them and one or two extra. They want to read more,but they can't because the books of the school take out a lot of the time students have for reading.

And about the interest...
The answers to this question are so diferent, some people said that they´re favourite books are that ones about romance, like "pride a prejudice" or book about suspense or accion.

The fault in our stars by John Green:
This story is about love and how it can be happy but sad at the same time.
The main characters are August and Hazel Grcae, both with cancer fall in love knowing that bad thing can happen.
We think that if you don´t usually enjoy reading, this is where you can start! Easy to read and very entertaining.
It can be boring if you don´t like romantic books.
Also one of our favourites writers!

why are book clubs an important thing?

we think that in the last years the kids and teens are losing interest in reading books, and now they like to use smartphones, tablets, etc. That is making uninformed people, with no arguments or creativity comparing to 20 years ago.
Reading is important for mind and soul, and we want to have a society were the people still reads, so book clubs are the best option for doing that.
You learn to like books and reading, and understand them more than before.

Looking for Alaska by John Green:
like most of his books,
this one is about love, a guy name Miles moves to a new school in Alabama and fell in love with his new best friend, Alaska.
Along the story you can read how he faces the situation with her and his new other friends.
It´s so easy to read and very interesting, especially if you love drama and love.

Harry Potter by J.K Rowling:

This amazing book is about 3 friends that go to Howarts, a school for wizards and have a lot of storys, most of them dramatic, interesting and romantic.
The main characters are Harry Potter, Hermione and Ron.
We recomend a lot this books(they are seven), because they are so entertaining! but it can be boring to read so many books:(
