Overview: American Football is called a collision sport and not a contact sport. In USA is the sport called Football, but in Denmark it’s called “Amerikansk fodbold”. They call it American, because it’s most prevalent in America. It’s two teams with 11 players on each team in 4 periods, these periods is called quarters. The sport is about scoring a goal by running inside their zone, it’s in the other side of the lane, or kicking the ball through the goal rods. The attacking team has 4 tries (downs) to get the ball 10 yards. If they get the ball 10 yards, they get 4 more tries (downs), and so on. The advanced tactic, and the explosive pace makes American Football, is almost check, because it needs a lot of tactic.
