Everything that's sucked inside is squeezed into a tiny space.

The biggest black holes can have a mass of more than a million suns put together, whereas it can also be as small as an atom. They are also invisible, but can be seen with special tools and telescopes to see how stars around it are affected.

About 4.57 billion years ago, waves of energy traveling through space pressed clouds of particles closer together, collapsing in on themselves and began spinning due to gravity, the first steps of how the solar system formed. The spin caused the cloud to flatten into a pancake disk-like shape. In the center, the material clumped together to form a protostar that would eventually become the sun.
