The cloud around the plain is staying there because the wind is blowing the same way the jet is but the jet engine blows stuff the opposite way that's why the cloud is staying around the plain.  There is not a reference point becaude the cloud is moving with the plain and theresd nothing in the sky to prove the plain is moving</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This image is of a jet having so much instantaneous speed that it's exhaust is creating a cloud behind it. The jet is demonstrating instantaneous speed and acceleration. Instantaneous speed is the rate that an object is moving at during a certain time, this jet is moving very fast at a certain time. The jet accelerated so much that the exhaust from the jet created the artificial cloud.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The image is demonstrating a jet that is going through a circular shaped exhaust.It's kind of like a car, when a car speeds up suddenly fast then more fuel burns and exhaust comes out.  I think that it is trying to show us its instantaneous speed and acceleration because its kind of blurry as it goes through the cloud. In science we're learning about the scientific definition of speed (instantaneous) and motion. (But we don't necessarily a cloud because there is no other clouds around, also it is very round and most clouds aren't that even.)<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This is a picture of a plane and an exhaust cloud. We think that the image is demonstrating instantaneous speed because it looks like it's sort of blasting off and becoming faster so it leaves behind a cloud of exhaust. (It's basically accelerating from it's average speed.) We are learning speed in science and this is an example of it. The plane is putting on a burst of speed to get faster to get through the cloud efficiently.&nbsp;It could also be that the plane is speeding up to get through the sound barrier.</div>]]></description>

The jet appears to be moving because with the cloud a bit behind as a frame of reference the jet looks to be moving through it. For the cloud to form it needs to break the sound barrier. To be moving at top speeds through the sky, with a circular cloud behind it.&nbsp; This relates to science because it is showing instantaneous speed and acceleration to get to that speed.</div>]]></description>
