Freddie looked younger in braids so she braided her hair so Nazis wouldn't suspect her. This made it a lot easier to make Nazis soldiers to follow them in a innocent and unsuspected way.

Even after more than a decade later, Freddie had trauma and insomnia from killing Natzi soldiers back in WWII. But in 2018, Freddie sadly died at the age of 92, Truus died in 2016 at age 92.

Hannie sadly was the first one to die. It was a lot easier to notice Hannie because of her bright red hair which isn't very common to see. Just three weeks before the war ended, Hannie was executed by the Nazis in 1945.

One day, Truus was biking and saw a Nazis soldiers hitting a baby against the wall right in front of the dad and sister. This made Truus upset and angry which led up to her killing the soldier right here. Once reflecting about it over a decade, she said "It wasn't an assignment, but I don't regret it".

Because of their successful traps, there was a difference of the amount of soldiers there were which was difficult because there was a lot of them. Freddie and Truus lured Nazi soldiers into the forest and killed them, or they used bikes and shot them. Sometimes they ambushed soldiers from their bikes

She was brought to a prison in Amsterdam. After much interrogation, torture, and solitary confinement, Schaft was identified by the roots of her red hair by her former colleague Anna Wijnhoff. Schaft was executed by Dutch Nazi officials on 17 April 1945.
