This theme shows that not everything might not look it seems like Dorian maybe does look Handsome and young and smart but inside he is dark and twisted. He is evil killing 3 people in the book sort of.

Another theme in this book is Art. Dorian started to collect beautiful artefacts at the end of the book it shows that art is a big fact in the book. Also the main thing is the Painting of Dorian Gray it was the most beautiful painting Basil ever made. This painting change everything in this story the way Dorian started to act and the way he had to hide the ugly art away.

Another small theme is Love. Dorian feel in love with Sibyl Vane. A actress in poor theatres she had barely enough to survive but Dorian did not care that she was poor he feel Deeply in love with her. Later on Dumping her. Lord Henry he changes Many people and Basil doesn't like that at all.

Sibyl Vane a Actress and a Singer also later Dorian love interest who commits suicide because of Dorian not being interested in her no more. 

Alan Campbell  a friend of Dorian Gray and the person who hide Basil body.

Basil Hallward is coming to pick up Dorian because Basil is making a portrait of Dorian Gray. Henry a very bad influencer to many other people so many people listen to him and something as ways bad happens, He say that people have to enjoy life to it's full potential. Basil knows of this habit that Henry has off influence. He ask Henry to please do not be an influence to Dorian in anyway. Henry agrees. Dorian comes and Basil is very exited to meet Dorian again and finish the painting. Dorian and Basil have a lovely talk about what they both been doing. Later Basil starts working on the painting and Henry comes in and introduces him self to Dorian. Dorian is very talkative so for Henry this is very good. When Dorian says he needs a break Dorian goes to the flowers garden because he says that flowers really calm him down. Henry comes up to Dorian saying that he also likes flowers. Henry starts talking to Dorian. Henry was very interested into Dorian he starts Dorian that he should start enjoying life more do things that will make him more happy. Dorian goes to the place where he has to sit when Basil is painting. Basil finishes the masterpiece and shows it to Dorian. Dorian is Angry/Sad/Frustrated that this painting will be young at beautiful all ways but he will be older and get wrinkles. He would give his very soul to stay as the painting and the is the main idea of the story.After Dorian said that Dorian did not age at all.But he did know that yet that he did not age. Henry goes away learning about Dorian parents. He goes to Uncle George to find out about Dorians Parents. Henry finds out that Dorians parents have a quite sad tory. His mother went to a farm and found a really beautiful man working there. They both ran away. Dorians Dad the poor farmer Died later from a Duel.Dorian Mom died died in less than a year after giving birth to Dorian leaving him at the orphanage. Back to the present. Later Dorian meets a beautiful lady named Sibyl who is an actor in poor theatres. After Dorian goes and meets Sibyl at the backstage. Sibyl instantly is in love with Dorian and she calls he Prince Charming. They both are in love and have a lovely talk Dorian says they will meet again. Sibyl goes home to tell her mom the news. Her mom says it is a bad idea because a relationship never worked out for her but is Dorian is rich then it is not so bad. James says that if Dorian does anything bad to Sibyl he will kill him. After a small while Dorian says to everyone that he is going to Mary this new women named Sibyl. Henry and Basil go to her performance to see her. Basil and Henry both think that she is beautiful but there is one problem she is not acting well at all. Dorian is shocked. Everyone leave the play but Dorian stays. After Dorian tell Sibyl that he is no longer interested in Dorian because he loved the acting is Sibyl Vane. Dorian dumps Sibyl. Sibyl is so sad that she commits Suicide. After some days Dorian need to apologise to Sibyl. But as as he is about to look for her and apologise he found out that Sibyl Commits Suicide. James Vane is so made as he also knows what happened to Sibyl he need to kill Dorian when he gets the chance. After some time dorian finds out something super shocking. The painting is starting to change. There is a wrinkle that really scared Dorian. But Dorian understands know that the painting will change but he won't. Dorian feels powerful. The wrinkle symbolises the cruelness. Dorian immediately hides the painting and puts a heavy cloth over it for no one to see ever again. Dorian does many more bad actions like smoking Drugs and being Cruel to many people.After some time Dorian checks up on the painting because his head is starting to hurt or at some moments he hears voices in his head. The painting change a lot but in a bad way. He is so scared that he goes in a lockdown for some years not trying to meet many people. After some time Dorian comes across Basil. The go to Dorian house have a lovely chat of what they have been doing all this time. Basil asks Dorian if he could see the painting Dorian says sure. He take Basil into the room with the painting a he takes off the sheet and Basil is shocked. he knows that no one added more paint because he recognises the paint that he was using.Then he remembers that dorian would give his soul to not age but the painting does change. After a couple second Dorian kill Basil because Basil would have knew about his secret. Dorian asks his old friend Alan Campbell to dispose of the painting. He says there is no way is hell he would make him get ride of the body. Dorian starts to blackmail Alan about this one thing that they do not say. Alan agrees to get ride of the body as long as he does not talk to him ever again. Dorian agrees leaving the building after some time James Vane finds Dorian. He sneaks up and puts the gun up to Dorians head saying that he would kill him. Dorian convinces him that it can not be him because 20 years have passed and he is barely 19. James release him. After some time Dorian goes hunting. Little does he know that James Vane knows that he is Dorian now and he is spying on him. But someone spots a hair and shoot accidentally James. Dorian is so happy that it was James because he has no more stress. All his problems are gone now. Except for one he needs to get rid of the painting the painting has done so many bad things to him. When he goes to see painting it has never been so ugly. The painting start to come to life making Dorian not to destroy him but he takes the same knife that he killed Basil with and puts the knife into the painting.
