I am grateful for the opportunity to lead the SJDC Culinary Arts Program. Ya'll have made my first semester here at Delta a positive and memorable experience. Events like yesterday's Friendsgiving was a keystone event, a new tradition that I hope to continue at Delta College for many years to come.

Giving me the opportunity to be with my family. He has given us health and so much this year that if I say everything I won’t finish today. I’m thankful for this amazing semester, it was challenging at first but I met incredible people such as Chef Greggs and I have learned so much that it has been a blessing. Life isn’t perfect and a lot of negative things have happened but positive things have happened as well and why not just focus on the positive? I’m grateful that I’m here and I’m able to experience a lot in life. The bad and the good.

Hey everyone! I just want to start by saying, we did it! *Sigh of relief* What a wild rollercoaster ride it’s been! (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶) I have so much to be thankful for! First and foremost, I'm incredibly grateful for my family and my two best friends, who have offered me their love and support throughout this semester. It's also feels amazing to stand alongside my wonderful colleagues. So many amazing people have touched my heart and made a positive difference in my life. ₊˚⊹♡ I truly appreciate all the opportunities and learning experiences I've had in this class. A toast to a good semester

Hello there 9 and 19 classmates/colleagues. I wanted to say cheers to a good semester with all of you. I’m thankful we all met and got to be classmates with each other. I’m thankful that we got through the takeover projects together and learning how everyone cooks and how each recipe is different and similar. We all have different tastes and similar tastes. We all grew up to being really great classmates with each other. Ari has especially pushed me to be the best I can in this class and I would love to thank her for being my girlfriend and especially being my classmate on top of that. I would like to thank Mikaya for being my Kitchen Rush Hour best friend throughout the whole year from 19 to 9. We all been through everything with all of you in this class. I would love to thank all of you for being good classmates and being good colleagues with me. When everyone is old enough to drink, we should all do a class reunion together and go out to a bar one day and see how we all are down the road. Thank you everyone for a good semester.

This picture is reflective of one thing I’m grateful for. I’ve met a few wonderful souls along my culinary path and will hold some great memories formed with them.

I’m also grateful for my family – We’ve had another great year and will continue to grow stronger!

Lastly, I’m grateful to have completed this semester and my culinary program. I’ve learned, laughed, stressed, etc. All in all, I took in the lessons from all of my experiences.

I am so grateful for my positive uplifting friends and family. They have been a great source of support and encouragement for me on my educational journey. They have even allowed my journey to inspire them in their lives as they also continue to accomplish their own goals. It feels fantastic to be able to be my self everyday and truly walk in my purpose. Utilizing my testimony of resilience to turn my pain into purpose to uplift others around me.

This year just like every year I am most grateful for my family. There are many reasons why I am grateful for them but the main reason is the way they love, support and show gratitude towards each other and other people. That in itself makes a father and husband proud to be apart of the family.

I'm very grateful for my family, and even though this year we couldn't have the everyone here on Thanksgiving day, I'm glad we could still have it a few days later, (they're still here as im writing this). But one person who I'm especially thankful for is my grandma (who is pictured on the left), who has been giving me a place to stay closer to campus during this semester.

Something else I'm very thankful during this time is all of you and this wonderful class we've had together. I've gotten to learn and experience so much during this course, and I can't wait to go on the field trip with everyone !

This semester entirely has been one about gratitude. I remember on the very first day I was excited to see people I already knew but was genuinely so joyed to start interacting with people I had never met. From the very first moment I was met with the kind of familiarity and warmth as if I had known these people my whole life. I feel as if I have built a beautiful community of people I look forward to seeing every week. I am so incredibly grateful to say I knew all of you, and while this semester is over, I will never forget the joy it brought me. I am so incredibly grateful for all of my wonderful friends, family, and my partner. Can’t wait for Wednesday!! It’s gonna be so much fun!

I’m thankful for this program. I’ve struggled with succeeding in school for the past number of years, but finding this culinary program and actually being able to do well for the first time has given me purpose and confidence to pursue a career in this field. I’m thankful for the people in my life - the family and friends I have are amazing. I’ve made some amazing friends in this program and I’m forever grateful for that. I’m thankful for the opportunities I’ve been able to participate in and the opportunities I’ll be able to be a part of next year!! Going to Italy, being a camp counselor, leading worship at my local church, seeing my brother get engaged and more! I’m thankful for God most of all. He has given me so much grace and love and has provided for me in ways I could never have expected on my own. He’s truly the God worth serving.

This 2024 I am thankful for all of the new classmates I made. I am also thankful for my family of course. This semester I learned a lot even though it was hard but with a lot of help from professor and motivating us it helped me get through it.
