https://padlet.com/michael_leicht/flkkockxm8hh I think that the most disobeyed computer ethical rules by students are rule #1 and rule #7. I think these rules are violated because there is a lot of cyber bullying and online bullying today and students sometimes have a tendency to not cite their work. In terms of Rule #1, there is a lot of work to be done with cyber bullying. There are way too many ways today to find someone online and to harass someone through a computer. There have been too many cases of people hurting themselves because of bullies that endlessly mock and attack them through the internet and social media and that needs to change. For Rule #7, I just feel as though students just forget that if you use something from someone else, you need to give credit. I feel like students do not do this purposely, however if teachers taught how to cite and reinforced citation from a younger age this problem would most likely go away. For cyber bullying, in order to prevent it we need to get better as a society and work together to promote positive environments on social media. When someone sees something that could be bullying, they need to step in and make sure the person is ok. Everyone needs to take an interest in stopping this, because if people just sit back and think if its not happening to me then I don't care, nothing will ever get changed.
