Churchill was born on November 30th 1874, at his grandfather's home. He had a brother named Jack and when they were both old enough they were both sent away to boarding schools in Ascot and Brighton before going to Harrow School. Him and his brother were 5 years apart, and they saw little of their parents and they grew up with their nanny. Churchill was a very rebellious child. After spending years at the boarding school, Churchill was becoming smart and successful.

Churchill died on January 24th 1965.Since 1949 he had suffered eight strokes. The last was January 15th 1965, from which he never recovered. After the stroke, he was mostly in a coma. His last words were to his son-in law, "I'm bored with it all". He was 90 years old. "His was the first state funeral for a non-royal family member since Lord Carson in 1935, and as of 2020 it remains the most recent state funeral in the United Kingdom." His funeral lasted four day's. "By decree of Queen Elizabeth II, his body lay in state at Westminster Hall for three days from 26 January. From there the body was transported by water along the River Thames to Waterloo station, accompanied by military salutations." Below is a newspaper from 1965 Daily News(New York). It states that so many owe him so much; They all lost a great leader that led them through the war.

Winston Churchill was apart of the great allies, and that consisted of Great Britain, United States, and the Soviet Union. They were called the "The Big Three" British Prime Minister Winston Churchill once said, “The only thing worse than having allies is not having them.” It first started when "Churchill and US President Franklin Delano Roosevelt had been working together for some time when the United States entered the war in 1941. Roosevelt believed a British victory over the Axis was in America’s best interests, while Churchill believed such a victory was not possible without American assistance." Then later Joseph Stalin joined that allies. He was very suspicious of both Roosevelt and Churchill. Below is a Picture of Joseph Stalin, Franklin Roosevelt, and Winston Churchill, at the Yalta conference.
