To begin with Step 1: Start with a sketch. Before sketching a design, I come up with an idea of the design. I usually do various sketches and make changes in this step. Second Step 2: Sketch into a pattern. I may find it easier to purchase and modify an existing pattern to fit my design. Once I'm satisfied with the fit I can move on to the classification (small, large, ..).Then Step 3: Make a sample. Select fabric color to find a color that matches my skin tone. I can go to Hom Market or Ninh Hiep market to buy fabrics, accessories, and some tools ( tailor's chalk, colored pencils, buttons,..) I will model once with cheap fabric, if it is suitable I will choose expensive fabric and move on to step 4. Finally, Step 4: Produce the final product. I need to go through a few samples of the garment until I get the perfect look, but once it's done, I'm ready to wear it. Step 3 took the longest for me to complete. It requires finding the right fabric. Step 2 was the most challenging for me, as my major is materials technology so I'm not very familiar with sewing or pattern making.

It took me about 3 to 4 days to complete this step. Next, I source the desired fabrics at the fabric store or market. When choosing fabric, you need to pay attention to the cost and quality of the fabric because it affects the price and quality of your product.
