So I started practicing getting ready for tryouts I would practice at least four hours a day , then came around tryouts I was not expecting so many people to try out I got really nervous .The day of tryouts I got nervous but I tried my hardest,  but then later we all got the results about who made the cheer team. I didn’t make it I was devastated I cried for like two days. But then came around eighth grade I told everyone I wasn’t going to try out because I was really embarrassed how I didn’t make the team last year, but then I ended up thinking to myself I wanted this for a long time so I ended up trying out again. And I ended up making the team  this was one of the best days of my life.


How does this relate to the theme ?


After one devastating rejection for the cheer team, I chose to not give up and try even harder and I finally made the cheer team!
