We need to open ourselves and be aware in our everyday lives to being able to recognize all our personal identities(spiritual, academic, activist) and being able to accept the connections across the board with spirituality. Also, being able to find common grounds regarding education, solving problems not giving solutions, and using compassion instead of hate

First, find sponsors to help facilitate the meeting. Next, find members that are willing to pay to attend conference and have age not be a factor. After, hire consultants and tech to help guide the meeting and give members some purpose and help them what to do. Finally, come up with a fight song to bring motivation up and use a poem to ask questions regarding emotion as a way to have members start reflecting and thinking about their status, privilege, fears of being an activist, and how society sees them.

We imagine creating a webinar style zoom call, which addresses issues surrounding activism and privilege. It will address the task of moving from a movement of shame and ager to a movement of acknowledging trauma. This webinar will hopefully gain traction from partners and enough funding to expand into a larger entity.
We hope to gain sponsorship and volunteers from CSUDH, The Poor Peoples Campaign, and others. Student volunteers will get clinical hours towards their educational programs. This webinar will be structured as follows:
1. Open with a poem written by one of our members coupled with a moving image of a wall. This portion is intended to evoke emotion of shame, anger, fear, rage,
2. Another member will follow this with a meaningful, emotional, and probing question for the audience. They will be given several minutes to reflect.
3. Next there will be a facilitated conversation between a trained activist and an individual who identifies as high SES and privileged. Additionally there will be a similarly structured conversation between the trained activist and an individual who identifies as low SES and underprivileged. This portion will hopefully shed light on the nuances of shame, anger, or fear felt by the effects of oppression and being the oppressor.
4. Next, a short YouTube clip will follow, detailing research, evidence, and data suggesting the detrimental effects of unbalanced power and privilege.
5. Break out rooms will follow, where participants will discuss either their reflection of the poem, the conversations, or the YouTube clip. Break out rooms will be facilitated by individuals who are not typical facilitators (i.e. young people, POC, people who identify as LGBTQI+)
6. Finally, we will close with final comments, questions, and reflection.
