We must preserve them for something more important. There are a total of 44 elements at risk. Some more than others and Helium is one. It is the 2nd most abundant element in the universe, but because it is so light, it escapes through the atmosphere. </div>]]></description>

Neodymium apparently isn't that rare its just had to tell apart from the other rare earth metals. Most people use technology with neodymium inside.  And if we run out we either wait for more to be processed or find a new alternative.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>the article has some interesting facts about how the electronic devices we use every day contain a lot of these endangered elements. for example indium is used in the touch screens on our phones in the form of  indium tin oxide. the consecration of  theses indium ores when mined is very low making it harder and harder to fine.so we are having to substitute zinc in place of the indium. but how long will the zinc last?</div>]]></description>

I learned that a lot of these elements used everyday are slowly but surely running out and that some of the things we use everyday could change drastically or we could lose them. I did not think at all about how these elements could run out and this article reminded me that almost everything we have is not infinite and will have to change or we will have to lose it. It is weird to think that some of these elements you don't even realize exist could run out sometime soon.
